Despite the prolonged dry weather and low water the fishing seems to have been productive with a couple of notable returns, all wild browns, for Yockenthwaite. Once again I'm sorry I am late with this post, yet another holiday in Cornwall got in the way, but I will hopefully do better for the June return. May seems to have been a good month on the river with plenty of fish caught and a healthy crop of returns for which I am very grateful. Please keep them coming. I'm sorry for the delay in posting this Blog, we are only just back from a holiday in Cornwall. The first return received was for 31 March and all other returns included in these charts are for April. Once again many thanks to all who completed returns for the month, it's a bit early to assess trends but given the weather we have had it's encouraging that so many fish fell to the dry fly. The largest fish was a rainbow caught on Whitebeck Down and I have no doubt at over 5l
